Alex And Viviana Santamarina/Club Mersa
Club Mersa, located in San Francisco, California, focuses on creating pieces that are both unique and inspirational. Using mostly stainless steel, wood, and rubber, Club Mersa is inspired by pre-industrial methods and influenced by pre-WWII artists such as Miro, Picasso, Calder, and Nagy. They draw much of their creativity from pop designs of the 1950s and 1960s, using whimsical and ornamental elements, adding functionality and form to their pieces.
Almost all of Club Mersa’s designs are unique and different from each other. The techniques they use in creating each of their pieces allows them to develop pieces that are both distinctive and one of a kind.
